Senior Lance Jones (Corning, Calif.) registered an NCAA consideration time on Sunday in the 200 yard breast. Jones swam 1:59.34 in the morning prelims and broke his own school record with the mark.
Sophomore Dale Rogers (Oroville, Calif.), who finished third in the 100 yard free finals, touched in at 43.93 in prelims, an NCAA consideration time in the event. Rogers also reset his own UW record with the time.
Sophomore Matt Marshall (Chico, Calif.) finished seventh in the 100 yard free while Pat Torpey (Mentor, Ohio) took eighth in the 200 yard butterfly (1:48.49).
Wisconsin has a month off from the competitive waters. The Badgers next compete at the Rainbow Classic, Jan. 2-3, 2002.
