Wisconsin junior Jon Turcott is tied for first in the 20-team Wolverine Invitationalin Ann Arbor, Mich. Turcott is tied with four others with a two-under par 69 in the 36-hole tournament.
As a team, the Badgers are 12th with a 302. Minnesota leads the tourney after one round with a 285 followed by Ball State and Michigan State at 292.
Other Badger scores include Eric Reno and Brian Brodell tied at 55th with 77, Joel Rechlicz tied for 81st with a 79, and Kevin Tassitro at 102nd with an 82.
The tournament concludes with 18-holes Sunday.
