Badgers Finish Tied for 17th at Wolverine Invitational

Wisconsin slipped from 10th to a tie for 17th in the final round of the shortened 36-hole Wolverine Invitational in Ann Arbor, Mich. Leading after one round, junior Jon Turcott ballooned to a four-over par 75 to finish tied for 17th.The Badgers shot a 302-305-607.
Ryan Baca of Baylor and Mike Gant of Ball State tied for first with two under 140's. Baca won the playoff to lead Baylor to the team title with a 574. Minnesota was second at 607.
Also contributing for Wisconsin were Eric Reno tied for 69th wit 77-77-154;Brian Brodell tied for 76 with 77-78-155; Joe Reclicz tied for 85th with 79-77-156; and Kevin Tassistro tied at 96th with 82-76-158.
