Badgers Gain 1-0 Road Win Over Howard

The University of Wisconsin men's soccer team claimed a 1-0 victory over Howard today in the Badgers' first road game of the year.
UW senior Dominic DaPra scored the game-winner on a penalty kick in the 64th minute to help the Badgers improve to 4-0-0 on the season, Wisconsin's best start since 1993. The goal is DaPra's sixth of the season. Howard falls to 0-4-0 with the loss.
Goalkeeper Moriba Atiba Baker recorded a pair of saves in his eighth career shutout. Wisconsin outshot the Booters 15-10 and registered only eight fouls compared to 20 by Howard.
Wisconsin continues its two-game road swing on Sunday at Maryland-Baltimore County.
