Marshall Named Big Ten Swimmer of the Week

Park Ridge, Ill. ' The Big Ten Conference named Wisconsin junior Matt Marshall its men's swimmer of the week Tuesday. Marshall was honored for his dominating performance against Northwestern last Friday.

Over the weekend, Marshall was a member of the first-place 400 medley relay (3:19.40) and first-place 400 free relay (3:01.27). Marshall added individual first-place finishes in the 50 free (20.88) and 100 fly (48.68) aiding the No. 14 Wisconsin men's swimming and diving team to success with a 159-128 victory.

It is Marshall's second Big Ten Swimmer of the Week honor this year and the third of his career.
