The Wisconsin men's and women's swimming and diving teams broke into the top 10 of the College Swim Coaches Association of America dual meet poll this week. The women's team is ranked eighth, while the men's team is No. 10.
The Badgers are coming off one of the best weekends in program history. Heading into the Texas Invitational, the women were ranked No. 12 and the men were No. 13. The women finished second behind Texas and ahead of USC and Arizona. On the men 's side, the Badgers took third behind Texas and California, and ahead of USC and Arizona State.
Both Badger squads opened the year at No. 18 in the CSCAA poll and are currently 5-1 overall and 2-0 in the Big Ten.
Wisconsin has a month off from the competitive waters. UW travels to Hawaii over winter break for intense training and competition at the Rainbow Classic in January.
