Rain Washes Out Final Round of Kepler Intercollegiate

The Wisconsin men's golf team ended the Kepler Intercollegiate in 15th place after the final round was rained out Sunday at the par-71 Ohio State University Scarlet Course. Results from the second round were made final.
UNLV took the top spot in the team standings with a 576. Colorado was three shots back at 579, followed by Purdue at 582. Lee Williamson of Purdue took medalist honors with a 3-under-par 71-68'139.
Junior Jon Turcott shot a 75-73'148 to tie for 24th and lead the Badgers.
Also contributing for Wisconsin were freshmen Dylan Esterling (T50th, 77-75'152) and Kevin Tassistro (T65, 78-77'155), senior Eric Reno (T79, 79-79'158), and junior Joel Rechlicz (T79, 78-80'158).
Freshman Michael Baldwin finished in 91st place with an 81-89 '170 competing as an individual.
