Badger Men Tied for 14th at Fossum Invite

The Wisconsin men's golf team shot a 314-309'623 to tie for 14th after the first two rounds of the Bruce Fossum Invitational at the par-72 Forest Akers West Golf Course.
Junior Jon Turcott leads Wisconsin with a 4-over 148 after carding a pair of 74s to tie for 11th. Freshman Kevin Tassistro posted a 76-79'155 to tie for 43rd, while classmate Brian Brodell shot an 81-77'158 to tie for 60th.
Junior Joel Rechlicz rounded out the Badger scoring with an 83-79 '162 to tie for 72nd, while senior Eric Reno is in 79th after an 85-83 '168.
Toledo has a firm hold on the top spot in the team standings after posting a 286-295'581. Illinois is 10 shots back in second place after shooting a 591. Three players are tied for the top spot on the individual leaderboard with 1-over 145s.
The Bruce Fossum Invite concludes tomorrow with the final round.
