On the men's side, UW's Andrew Ackley finished 23rd in a field of 47 swimmers. Ackley touched in at 8:37.58 in the 800 free.
More Badgers join the action when the invite continues tomorrow through Sunday. Preliminary action starts at 11 a.m. (CST) and the top 24 prelim times will qualify for the 7 p.m. (CST) finals.
