Badgers Finish Eleventh at Northern Intercollegiate

After extra holes of play, due to a fog delay on Saturday, the Badger men's golf team finished with 874 (292-290-292) strokes at the Indiana University Golf Course in Bloomington, Ind. Leading the 15 team pack, including nine Big Ten teams, was Illinois finishing at a nine-under-par 843 total. After a delay Saturday morning and play postponed in the evening due to darkness, the competitors had an extra three or four holes to finish this morning before starting the final 18-hole round.
Having his career best round, sophomore Michael Baldwin finished in a tie for ninth with a three-round total of 210 (71-71-68). His third round 68 crushed his career best of 71 by three strokes. Also playing well for the team this weekend was sophomore Brian Brodell (72-70-75'217) who finished tied for 28th. Low score among individuals was an eleven-under-par 202 (65-67-70) shot by James Lepp from Illinois.
