Wisconsin relay teams set two more pool records forcing new changes to the wall of records on the west end of the Natatorium. The record-setting 400 medley and 200 freestyle relay teams led the Badgers to an impressive 172-116 victory over the Hawkeyes.
The 400-yard medley relay team of Adam Mania, Kevin Zakrewski, Matt Marshall and Dale Rogers opened the first Big Ten meet with their record-setting performance of 3:20.87. Seniors Marshall and Rogers were part of the 2001 squad who owned the previous Natatorium best of 3:21.
