Volleyball Sponsors Celebrate Youth Day

The University of Wisconsin volleyball team will sponsor a Celebrate Youth Day on Friday, Nov. 28. The Badgers will play Indiana at 7 p.m. in the UW Field House with a number of special events and promotions in conjunction with the match.
All children 17 and under will receive free admission while the Web Offer of the Week on uwbadgers.com will be a two-for-one admission coupon for adults.
The national anthem will be sung Wisconsin recording artists No Limit. The group will also present a special intermission concert between games two and three. The vocal band from Stevens Point, Wis., has performed at the Miss Minnesota pageant, the Miss South Dakota USA pageant and was part of the 2003 Major League All-Star Week in Milwaukee.
Other pre-match activities include carnival games with free prizes, a sign-making station, and a balloon artist. Volleyball trading cards featuring UW student-athletes Marian Weidner and Sheila Shaw will also be given out. Doors open at 6 p.m.
The fun continues during the match with prize drawings and giveaways being presented throughout the night.
