Kundert Named Third-Team All-Region

University of Wisconsin women's soccer senior forward Jenny Kundert has been named a third-team NSCAA/adidas All-Great Lakes Region selection. It is the third all-region honor for Kundert in her career after being named to the first team as a freshman and the second team as a junior.
A native of Madison, Wis., Kundert helped lead the Badgers to a 10-9-2 overall record and a 4-6 mark in Big Ten play in 2003. She appeared in 19 games this season for UW, leading the team with seven goals and five game-winning goals. Kundert also ranked second on the squad with 18 points and third with four assists.
A second-team All-Big Ten pick this year, Kundert ranked third in the Conference in game-winning goals (5) and seventh in shots per game (2.95).
She finished her Badger career with 24 assists, the second-highest total in school history. She trails only Theresa Senn who tallied 26 assists from 1981-83.
