Finals are over and the campus is quiet like new fallen snow, but fans can trust the Badgers will continue to heat up the Kohl Center this week.
The Wisconsin women's basketball team plays UW-Milwaukee Monday night at 7 p.m. to start the week, while the men's hockey team will wrap up the week with the 15th annual Badger Hockey Showdown making its first-ever appearance in Madison.

MEN'S HOCKEY
' Men's hockey (11-3-4, 6-2-4 WCHA) resumes action at the 15th annual Badger Hockey Showdown this weekend, Saturday, Dec. 27 and Sunday, Dec. 28 at the Kohl Center.
' Ferris State and UMass-Lowell open Showdown play at 4:35 p.m. Saturday, followed by No. 4 Wisconsin versus Union at 7:35 p.m. The Badgers will then play on Sunday, Dec. 28 at 7:35 p.m. for either the Showdown title or in the consolation game.
' The Badgers were off last week as head coach Mike Eaves and skaters Ryan Suter, Jeff Likens and Jake Dowell departed for Finland and the 2004 World Junior Championship. The group will be gone for the UW's next four games.
MEN'S BASKETBALL
' The men's basketball team (7-1) travels to Ohio (3-6) for the Rock & Roll Shootout Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
' Wisconsin holds an 8-2 all-time record against the Bobcats.
' The 22nd-ranked Badgers completed a sweep of their four-game homestand this past Saturday with a 63-59 nailbiting win over No. 23 Marquette.
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
' Wisconsin (4-3 overall) entertains UW-Milwaukee (3-5) tonight, Dec. 22 at 7 p.m., before breaking for the holidays.
' The Badgers' game against UW-Milwaukee can be heard on WTSO AM 1070 and will also be televised live locally on UPN 14, as well as tape-delayed statewide on Wisconsin Public Television at 11 p.m. with Ken Syke and Dawn Crim.
' It is the second-straight in-state opponent for the Badgers, who dispatched UW-Green Bay (5-3) on the road Dec. 13, 56-48.
' Wisconsin will take a four-day holiday break before resuming practice Dec. 26.
' The Badgers travel to Boston College, Dec. 30, and start the Big Ten Conference season on the road at No. 13 Ohio State (4-1) Jan. 2.
