Badgers Finish in Eighth at Pepsi-Cola Intercollegiate

Wisconsin golfers shot a final round 303 to place eighth among the 14-team competition at the Pepsi-Cola Intercollegiate in Pottsboro, Texas. While battling high winds yesterday, the Badgers shot scores of 325 and 311 to combine with today's round and total 939 strokes. First place Wichita State shot a third round three-under-par 285, totaling 881. Judd Easterling of WSU led all individuals with a third round 67 and total 214.
Wisconsin sophomore Michael Baldwin finished in a tie for 19th with scores of 80-78-73--231. Next came Brian Brodell (82-77-77) and Kevin Tassistro (82-78-76), both tying for 31st, managing totals of 236. Dylan Esterling was not far behind with scores of 83-78-77'238 in a tie for 38th.
