Men's Golfers Wrap Up Regular Season at Fossum Invitational

The Badger men golfers climbed out of Saturday's last place position to finish in 11th at the Fossum Invitational in East Lansing, Mich. The team's rounds of 314-295-293 totaled 906 at the par 72, 7,013-yard Forest Akers Country Club. The 14-team field was led by co-champions Kent State and Illinois, carding 299-278-287'864 and 284-293-287'864 respectively.
The Badgers were led by sophomore Dylan Esterling who fired rounds of 78-73-73'224. He tied for 32nd among individuals. Sophomore Michael Baldwin and junior Jonathan Blauner, in his first collegiate tournament, both finished with 229 totals. Baldwin had scores of 78-79-72 and Blauner finished with 75-81-73. Rounding out the team total was sophomore Brian Brodell, carding 83-74-75'232, in a tie for 55th. Kevin Tassistro also competed for Wisconsin with 85-73-78'236.
