Wisconsin in Tenth After First Round of Big Ten Championship

The Wisconsin men's golfers sit in the tenth position after the first round at the Big Ten Championship in Bloomington, Ind. The team carded a 14-over par 298 at the par 71, 6,942-yard Indiana University Golf Course.
Ohio State is tied for first with Illinois, each firing a two-under 282 total.
Kevin Tassistro led the Badgers through the first round of the tournament in a tie for 24th. He shot an eagle on the par-5 ninth hole on his way to a two-over par 73 final score.
Sophomores Brian Brodell and Michael Baldwin were one stroke behind Tassistro with a three-over 74. Baldwin managed two birdies and Brodell had one during their first 18-holes.
Senior Joel Rechlicz turned in a six-over 77 and Dylan Esterling fired an 80.
