Round Three of Men's Golf Big Ten Championship

Even though three Badgers fired a three-over par 74, the team could not manage to pull itself out of last place in the third round of the Big Ten Championship. The Badgers totaled a score of 300 for their third 18 holes at Indiana University Golf Course in Bloomington, Ind. to put them nine strokes behind 10th place Iowa.
Illinois will lead the teams into the final round, at 13 under with a total 839 for 54 holes.
One of the three Badgers to lead the team Saturday was sophomore Brian Brodell. He also leads the Badgers 54-hole totals with scores of 74-76-74 '224 in a tie for 35th.
Also shooting a 74 in the third round was sophomore Dylan Esterling. He is in 52nd place with scores of 80-76-74--230
Senior Joel Rechlicz was the third Badger to card a three-over 74. He fired 77-80-74'231 for the tournament.
Sophomore Michael Baldwin was the fourth score for the team total with a seven-over 78 in the third round. His scores of 74-76-78'228 put him in a tie for 48th among individuals.
Although carding 73's in the first two rounds, sophomore Kevin Tassistro struggled Saturday, shooting an 81. He dropped to a tie for 46th with rounds of 73-73-81--227
