Shania Twain To Play at Kohl Center Oct. 27

Popular country and pop singer Shania Twain will return to Madison Monday, Oct. 27 for a concert at the Kohl Center. Twain's 1998 concert sold out of its 13,000 tickets in just one day. Several more thousand seats will be available this time when tickets go on sale Monday, Sept. 8, at 10 a.m. at the Athletic Ticket Office and on-line and by phone through Ticketmaster.
Tickets are $81, $66, and $46 each plus surcharges. Tickets may be obtained on-line, in person or charged by phone at 414-276-4545 in Milwaukee, 608-255-4646 in Madison, and 920-494-1414 in Northern Wisconsin, and 312-559-1212 in Chicago. Charge on-line at www.ticketmaster.com or www.cc.com.
Twain will take center stage literally when her 'Up ' touring stage is placed at center court of the 17,000-seat Kohl Center. Her fourth album title 'Up' is currently No. 2 on Billboard's country album chart. Her third album, 'Come On Over' released in 1997 was one of the most popular albums ever produced selling over 20 million copies.
The return of Shania Twain adds to a growing list of top-notch entertainment acts that have played at the Kohl Center. The list includes Elton John, Bon Jovi and the Goo Goo Dolls, John Mellencamp, the Blue Man Group, Cher, the Dave Matthews Band, `N Sync and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
