'We really showed the will to win today and put goals in, ' Dean Duerst, Wisconsin head coach, said. '(Amy Vermeulen) getting that goal to start us off is the kind of thing you need. You need to go in at halftime ahead and with some confidence. It was a complete game.'
Lindenmuth (Geneva, Ill.) scored 10 minutes into the second half to give Wisconsin a 2-0 lead. Preiss tallied her second assist of the game on the play.
Walsh (Madison, Wis.) tallied her fourth goal on the season at 61:05 following a pass from Lindenmuth. The Badgers maintained a three-goal lead until the 82nd minute when the Buckeyes ended the shutout with a score of their own.

Wisconsin will play at 3 p.m. Friday against Northwestern in Evanston, Ill., before returning home for a noon game next Sunday. The team will honor its six seniors in the final regular-season game.
