UW Golf Schedules Available

The spring 2006 men's and women's golf schedules are now available online at uwbadgers.com. Both schedules can be found by selecting the 'Schedule ' tab at the top of each team's home page.
Both teams open the spring season out west on Feb. 12, 2006. The men 's team returns to San Diego to play a dual with San Diego State. Meanwhile, the women's team will be in Phoenix to take part in the Wisconsin/Minnesota Cup.
The women's team concludes the month of February with a trip to Rio Grande, Puerto Rico for the Lady Puerto Rico Classic hosted by Purdue Feb. 24-26. After that, the women play twice in March, at the Mo Memorial March 10-12 and then the Mountain View Classic March 25-26. They conclude the regular season with the Lady Buckeye Invitational in Columbus, Ohio April 22-23.
Indiana will host the 2006 Big Ten Women's Golf Championships April 27-30 in Bloomington, Ind. NCAA Regionals are scheduled for May 11-13 leading up to the NCAA Women's Golf Championships May 23-26 in Columbus, Ohio.
The UW men's golf team plays in Florida twice after opening the season in San Diego. The Badgers play in the Naples Invitational Feb. 27-28 and the Orange county Invite in Orlando, Fla., March 4-5. After two weeks off, the men's team travels to Pinehurst, N.C. for the Pinehurst Invitational March 19-21. Wisconsin concludes the regular season with a three-week flurry, playing at the Boilermaker Invitational (West Lafayette, Ind.) April 8-9, the Buckeye invitational (Columbus, Ohio) April 15-16, and the Fossum Invitational (East Lansing, Mich.) April 22-23.
The Big Ten Men's Golf Championships take place April 29-30 in Evanston, Ill. NCAA regional action is set for May 18-20 before the NCAA Men's Golf Championships are played in Sunriver, Ore., June 1-4.
