NCAA Volleyball Regional Match Times Set

Match times for the 2005 NCAA Volleyball Regional in College Station, Texas, have been set.
No. 13 Wisconsin (25-6) will take on No. 11 Notre Dame (30-3) on Friday at 5 p.m. in G. Rollie White Coliseum on the campus of Texas A&M University. Third-ranked Washington (28-1) will take on 21st-ranked Purdue (25-8) in the second semifinal beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday. The semifinal winners will meet on Saturday at 5 p.m. in the regional final for the right to advance to the NCAA championship on Dec. 15 and 17 in San Antonio, Texas.
The UW advanced to the NCAA Regional by downing Loyola, Ill., 3-0, in the first round of postseason play before sweeping 16th-ranked California, 3-0, in the second round.
Wisconsin is making its second consecutive appearance in the NCAA Sweet 16. In 2004, the Badgers upset then-second-ranked Hawai'i, 3-2, in the regional semifinals before falling to eventual national champion Stanford, 3-0, in the regional final.
