UW Earns First Ranking in Regional Poll

Wisconsin made its first appearance of the season in the NSCAA Great Lakes regional rankings released Tuesday. The Badgers are tied for 10th in the poll.
Undefeated Notre Dame tops the regional rankings and is the top-ranked team in the national rankings, also out Tuesday. Four teams ahead of the Badgers will face Wisconsin later this season, including No. 9 Michigan, who comes to town Friday. No. 4 Indiana and No. 5 Purdue are on the slate for next week, while Wisconsin will meet in-state rival UW-Milwaukee, who is ranked sixth, on Oct. 22.
Wisconsin will face the Wolverines at 7 p.m. Friday at the McClimon Soccer Complex.
