
Siow Earns Big Ten Recognition

University of Wisconsin sophomore Yi Ting Siow was named the Big Ten Swimmer of the Week, the conference office announced today.
Siow won all three events in which she competed'the 200-yard IM (2:02.12, NCAA 'B' time), the 200-yard breaststroke (2:11.91, NCAA 'A' time) and the 200-yard medley relay (1:43.02)'in leading No. 19 UW (4-1, 2-0 Big Ten) to a 129-114 victory over Northwestern last Friday.
The award is Siow's second this season and the third of her career. The Badgers have now had a Swimmer and/or Diver of the Week three times this year.
