
Siow Named Swimmer of the Week'Again!

For the second consecutive week and third time this season, University of Wisconsin sophomore Yi Ting Siow was named the Big Ten Swimmer of the Week, the conference office announced today.
Siow earned this award for winning four events at last week's Minnesota Invitational. In Friday's 200-yard IM, Siow reeled off a time of 2:00.01, matching her top time this year and meeting an NCAA qualifying standard. She then helped her 400-yard medley relay team swim to a winning mark of 3:45.83.
The next day, Siow's 200-yard medley relay team set a season-best with a time of 1:42.44, which also was an NCAA 'B' time. Siow also won the 400-yard IM with an NCAA 'A' time of 4:13.13.
Siow shares the swimmer of the week award'the fourth of her career 'with Michigan's Lindsey Smith.
