Where Are They Now'
November 08, 2006 | Women's Soccer
As the University of Wisconsin women's soccer team wraps-up its 25th season as a varsity sport, we look back at former defender Shannon Brown.
A Madison native, Brown played for the Badgers from 1994-97 under the direction of current head coach Dean Duerst. Just one of four Wisconsin student-athletes to win the Big Ten Medal of Honor, Brown held a 3.97 GPA while attending the University of Wisconsin. She was awarded NSCAA Academic All-America honors, Soccer America and Soccer Buzz honors, as well as being named to the GTE/CoSIDA Academic All-American National and District V teams. She graduated from UW in 1998.
