Wisconsin Men's Golf 2006 Fall Schedule Announced

The 2006 Wisconsin men's golf fall schedule was announced today. The team kicks-off the season Sept. 11-12 when it travels to Pinehurst, N.C. for the Mid-Pines Intercollegiate. The Badgers head back out on the road on Sept. 16-17 for Ann Arbor, Mich., to compete in the 54-hole Wolverine Invitational.
UW is back in action the next weekend at Richmond, Vir., for the Mattaponi Springs Invitational hosted by Virginia Commonwealth on Sept. 25-26. The Badgers head down to Memphis, Tenn., for the University of Memphis Intercollegiate on Oct. 2-3. Last year, Wisconsin placed 3rd in this tournament for its best finish of the season.
After a three-week break, Wisconsin wraps up its fall season with a trip to Bandon, Ore., on Oct. 23-24 for the Pac-10/Big 10 triangular with Northwestern and Wisconsin of the Big Ten Conference, and the Oregon Ducks of the Pac-10 Conference.
The UW men's golf team spring season has yet to be completed, but Wisconsin concludes the 2006-07 regular season with the 72-hole Big Ten Championships April 25-27 at The Ohio State University Scarlet Course in Columbus.
