University of Wisconsin swimming head coach Eric Hansen was selected recently by USA Swimming as one of its men's assistant coaches for the Mutual of Omaha Pan Pacific Championships Aug. 17-21 at the Saanich Commonwealth Place Pool in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
'It's an honor to be appointed to this position, ' Hansen said. 'This meet is our next big step in preparation for the 2008 Olympics.'
