
Badgers Currently Leading in Ann Arbor

The Wisconsin men's golf team is currently in first place at the Wolverine Intercollegiate. After two rounds of play the Badgers have a total team score of 564 and are four strokes ahead of second-place Michigan.
Leading the way for UW was junior Garrett Jones (Rewey, Wis.) who had a total score of 137 (70-67). Jones is tied for second place and is just two strokes behind the Oregon State 's Mitch Gillis who has a total score of 135.
River Falls, Wis., native Tyler Obermueller shot a two-under par 70 in the first round and a 72 in the second. He is currently tied for 13th place with a 142. Jeff Kaiser (Onalska, Wis.) has a total score of 143 (73-70) and is tied for 18th place.
Sophmore Dan Woltman (Beaver Dam, Wis.) shot a first-round 74 and a two-under par 70 in the second round to finish the day with a 144 and a 22nd place tie. Rounding out the scoring for the Badgers was sophomore Pat Duffy (Appleton, Wis.). Duffy's two-round total of 145(72-73) earned him a tie for 31st place.
