
Wisconsin Looks to Improve in Final Round

After two rounds, the University of Wisconsin men's golf team finds itself in 12th place out of 16 teams at the Prestige at PGA West, Greg Norman Course in La Quinta, Calif. The Badgers have a total team score of 589 which puts them 23 strokes behind the leader Charlotte, after the first day of the tournament.
Junior Dan Woltman (Beaver Dam, Wis.) finished three-under par on the day and is tied for second place. Tyler Obermueller (River Falls, Wis.) is the next top Badger golfer through two rounds as he is in 40th place and finished four-over par after two rounds.
Jeff Kaiser, Danny Zimmerman and Jordan Elsen look to improve in the third round tomorrow as they finished in 57th, 62nd and 75th place respectively today.
UW will conclude play tomorrow with the final 18 holes at the Prestige at PGA West in La Quinta, Calif.
