Bigten.org Carries Amy Dahlin Feature

Wisconsin women's track and field athlete Amy Dahlin was recently interviewed by Jeff Smith of BigTen.org , talking about her career as a pole vaulter.

Dahlin, a junior from Arlington Heights, Ill., won the pole vault at the Wisconsin Elite Invitational last Saturday, clearing a personal best of 12 feet, 5 ' inches. She hopes to improve upon her 10th-place finish at last year's Big Ten Conference indoor championships on March 1-2 in Minneapolis.

Dahlin is the third member of her family to compete in Big Ten athletics and the second pole vaulter. Read all about Dahlin's choice of track as her preferred sport over soccer and swimming.
