NEWSWORTHY NOTES
When they host UW-Green Bay on Monday, the Badgers will look to extend a six-game unbeaten streak against in-state rivals. Wisconsin has not lost to an in-state team since falling, 2-3, to the Phoenix on Oct. 24, 2006. Since that loss, the Badgers are 0-0-1 against Green Bay, 1-0-2 against UW-Milwaukee and 1-0-1 against Marquette.

He had scored in each of the Badgers' previous three contests and leads the team with seven goals.
Lorenz matched his season-high with seven shots in Saturday's match, including a season-best five shots on goal. Over the course of the Badgers' last five games, Lorenz has launched 21 shots, including 14 shots on goal.
Over that span, which dates back to the UW's Oct. 5 matchup with Michigan State, Lorenz has accounted for 31 percent of the Badgers' shots, including 42 percent of their shots on goal. He also has four of the team's seven shots on goal in that time frame (57 percent).
After being held to a season-low five shots by Marquette (Oct. 15), the Badgers racked up 13 shots against the Buckeyes. That marked the 11th time in 14 games this season that the UW tallied at least a dozen shots.
Of their 13 shots in Saturday's clash with Ohio State, the Badgers put a season-high 11 ' or 85 percent ' on goal.
Saturday's loss to Ohio State was the Badgers' first this season in a game that saw the UW dent the scoreboard first. Miller tallied the game's initial goal in the 49th minute, but the Buckeyes answered with a pair of second-period scores. The Badgers are now 6-1-1 on the season when scoring first.
With their win over Marquette last Wednesday, the Badgers also improved their record against non-conference foes to 6-2-1 on the season.
