Nosbusch earns Soccer Buzz honor

Freshman Laurie Nosbusch earned her second honor of the week after her impressive performance this past weekend. Soccer Buzz listed Nosbusch on the Soccer Buzz Elite Team of the Week along with 14 other honorees. Nosbusch was chosen out of the near 5,000 players in Division 1 soccer that played during the week of Oct. 13, she was also named Big Ten Offensive Co-player of the Week. Nosbusch notched two assists and two goals for the weekend as the Badgers went 2-0.
Against Michigan Nosbusch assisted in the game-winning goal and then scored to secure the 3-1 win. Nosbusch was a pivotal role in the win over Michigan State, who is second in the Big Ten standings. Nosbusch again assisted in the game-winning goal and capped the win with a goal for the 2-0 win.
Senior Taylor Walsh also received the honor back in early September after recording her first hat trick. The Badgers will continue in Big Ten play this weekend as they travel to Minnesota on Friday and Iowa on Sunday.
