The Wisconsin men's diving team placed two more divers in the top eight as the second day of competition was completed Saturday at the Arizona Diving Invitational. Competing at the Hillenbrand Aquatic Center, sophomores Caleb Percevecz (Scottsdale, Ariz.) and Louis Schiff (Chicago, Ill.) each landed in the top eight for the second day in a row.
Competing on the 3-meter board, Percevecz finished with a score of 326.45 to finish in fourth place. The score was Percevecz's fourth-best of the season and he now owns the team's five best marks on the year.
Schiff finished in eighth place for the second time in as many days. Like Percevecz, Schiff's score of 285.25 was his fourth-best of the season.
The Badgers also got two divers in the top eight of the consolation bracket.
Junior Tim Feyereisen finished in second place, while fellow junior Al Morrison ended up sixth.
Feyereisen's score of 298.15 was the best performance of his career. It surpassed the 276.60 he set against Arizona on Oct. 31 earlier this year.
By registering a 269.50, Morrison had his second-best score of the season. His best came with a 304.20 against Northwestern on Nov. 13 this season.
The Arizona Diving Invitational concludes Sunday morning. The competition will begin at 12 p.m. (CT). Check back to UWBadgers.com for results.
