Fans now have more opportunities to catch current and former University of Wisconsin athletes competing at the U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials, with online webcasts planned for each preliminaries session of the eight-day event.
NBC or USA Network will broadcast event finals live each night of the Trials, beginning at 7 p.m., while preliminaries action each day can be viewed live online at NBCOlympics.com , beginning at 11 a.m.
Access to the webcasts is free, although registration is required.
A total of 29 athletes with ties to the Wisconsin swimming program will compete in the Trials, which begin Sunday and continue through July 6 at the Qwest Center in Omaha, Neb. More information on the Trials is available at www.usaswimming.org .
