
Toon family featured on Big Ten Network

MADISON, Wis. - Their father is one of the greatest receivers in Badger football history. His son is making a name for himself as a sophomore wide receiver with the current UW team and his daughter is a starter for the Wisconsin volleyball team. Two generations of the Badger family and they all have the last name of Toon.

Al Toon, a 1984 UW football All-American and standout with the New York Jets, and his wife Jane have four children, all of whom are athletes. Their only son Nick is a redshirt sophomore wide receiver with the Badger football team. He is the leading receiver for Wisconsin this season. Their oldest daughter Kirby is a freshman right-side hitter with the UW volleyball team. She has started 23 of 24 matches this season and ranks third on the team in kills per set.
