• Wisconsin’s starting lineup for the first game of the year was junior Jordan Taylor and seniors Wquinton Smith, Tim Jarmusz, Jon Leuer and Keaton Nankivil.
• Wisconsin’s 99 points are the Badgers’ most in a game since a 105-70 win over Eastern Illinois on Dec. 28, 1995.
• Wisconsin’s season high for offensive rebounds in a game last season was 17. The Badgers had 17 offensive rebounds in the first half Sunday.
• Wisconsin finished the game with 24 offensive rebounds, the highest total in the Bo Ryan era. The previous high under Ryan was 22 vs. North Dakota State on Jan. 21, 2006.

• Freshman Josh Gasser played his first career game scoring 21 points, grabbing 9 rebounds and dishing out 3 assists.
• Gasser’s 21 points rank as the second-most for a freshman in his Wisconsin debut. Rashard Griffith holds the UW record with 27 points in his debut on Nov. 27, 1993. Gasser’s output exceeded the output of Devin Harris, whose 20 points at UNLV on Nov. 17, 2001 rank No. 3 on the Badgers’ list of top freshman debuts.
• Senior Jon Leuer finished with 24 points – his 9th career 20-point game.
• Senior Wquinton Smith made his first career start for Wisconsin, setting career highs with 17 minutes, 5 rebounds and 3 assists.
• Before Smith, the last non-scholarship player to start a game for Wisconsin was Kevin Gullikson at Iowa on Jan. 21, 2009. The last four-year non-scholarship player to start for the Badgers was David Burkemper vs. Michigan on Feb. 27, 1999.

• Sophomore Mike Bruesewitz scored a career-high 11 points, including the first three 3-point field goals of his career.
