
Divers head to NCAA zone championships

MADISON, Wis. -- The Wisconsin men's and women's swimming and diving programs have four athletes set to compete in the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships this weekend in College Station, Texas.
The Badgers will have senior Al Morrison and freshman Michael Ross competing on the men's side, while the UW women's team will be represented by junior Ciara Rinaudo and freshman Roxanne Fitter.

The Zone D Championships is one of five regional meets used to determine the diving field for the upcoming NCAA swimming and diving championships.
The competition gets underway Friday with the women's 1-meter competition and the men on the 3-meter springboard.
Saturday's slate flips the competitors, with the men on the 1-meter board and the women competing at the 3-meter level.
Both the men and women will compete on the platform Sunday.
