  • The Badgers lose in the semifinals of the Big Ten Tournament for the second straight season.
  • Wisconsin falls to 9-16 in the Big Ten Tournament and 5-7 under Coach Lisa Stone.
  • Junior Alyssa Karel scored a career-high 31 points against the Buckeyes. She shot 10-of-15 from the field, including 5-of-5 from 3-point range. Her five 3-pointers made was a career best. The 5-7 guard also finished 6-of-7 from the free throw line and added three rebounds and one steal in 38 minutes. Karel’s 31 points ties her for seventh in the Big Ten Tournament single-game records. Former Badger Barb Franke is one of the tournament record holders with 35 points in a single game.
  • The Badgers tied a season low with only seven turnovers. That mark ties for third on the UW single-game record list.
  • Wisconsin recorded a season-high 27 fouls.
  • Ohio State made 34 free throws on 38 attempts (89.5 percent), season highs in both free throws made and attempted for UW opponents this season.
  • Ohio State scored 82 points on the Badgers, the second highest point total for a UW opponent this season. The Buckeyes scored 83 points against the UW on Feb. 18. Despite the high score, Wisconsin’s opponents average just 56 points per game.
  • Wisconsin drops to 0-3 against Ohio State this season, 43-14 all time and 0-7 on a neutral court. The Badgers also fall to 0-4 against the Buckeyes in the Big Ten Tournament.
  • Wisconsin outscored Ohio State 28-20 in the paint and 6-2 off the bench.
  • The Badgers led for most of the game against the Buckeyes. After a 2-0 Ohio State lead, Wisconsin lead until the 9:18 mark of the second half when OSU went up 62-60. The game was tied four times after that until the Buckeyes took the lead for good at 73-72 with 3:52 to play.
  • Wisconsin loses its first game this season on a neutral court. The Badgers are 3-1 in neutral games.
  • UW is averaging 71.3 points over its last six games, well above its season average of 62.5 points per game.
  • Senior Rae Lin D’Alie started her 130th game, which ties her for fourth on the Big Ten Conference career record list.
