
Men's golf fall schedule released

Madison, Wis. - The UW men's golf team has a familiar-looking schedule this fall when it begins play Sept. 12-13 at the Gopher Invitational. UW is returning to three of the five venues it played last fall starting with the Spring Hill Golf Club in Wayzata, Minn., where the Badgers finished eighth with an 893.
UW also returns to the Alister Mackenzie Invitational Oct 18-19 at The Meadow Club in Fairfax, Calif. The event, hosted by Cal-Berkeley, was cut short to 36 difficult holes last season due to weather. UW was 12th with a 574.
The Memphis Intercollegiate played at the Colonial Country Club in Cordova, Tenn., Oct. 25-26 was UW's best tournament finish last season placing in a tie for seventh with a 906.
The new tournaments include the Louisville Intercollegiate played at The Cardinal Club Sept. 20-21 in Louisville, Ky. The Badgers will also head to Ft. Myers, Fla., Oct. 3-4 for the Renaissance Invitational hosted by Xavier University. The tournament will be played at the Arthur Hill designed The Club at Renaissance.
