Badgers in 17th after first day at Firestone Invitational

AKRON, Ohio -- The Badgers are in 17th place after two rounds of the 54-hole Firestone Invitational with a 22-over par 295-303-598 in Arkon, Ohio. Indiana and Southern Methodist are tied for the lead with a 4-under par 572.
Anthony Aicher leads the Badgers in his fourth-straight tournament with a 2-over par 70-76--146 to tie for 31st. St. Mary's Mac McClng leads the tournament with a 7-under par 71-66-137 on the par 71 course. Twenty-one golfers had red figures today.
Brady Keegan had a season best 150 to tie for 54th, and Stephane Dubois had his best 36-hole score with a 77-78--153. Sam Frank had his first appearance in an event tying for 80th with a 79-76--155.
