
Badgers to take on talented field in Norman

MADISON, Wis. – Facing some of the top talent in the country, the Wisconsin women’s golf team heads to Norman, Okla., and the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic Oct. 16-18. The tournament will be the second competition in the last two weeks for the Badgers.
Six-of-17 teams competing in the 54-hole tournament Sunday- Tuesday currently rank among the top-50 in the Golf Week/ Sagarin rankings, including No. 15 Texas A&M. All but two teams are ranked within the top-100.
The Badgers will travel to Norman and the Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club with five team members, including senior Jessie Gerry, who led the Badgers overall last weekend with a 16th place finish at the Lady Northern. Also traveling is junior Lindsay Danielson, sophomore Kris Yoo and freshmen Kimberly Dinh and Aaren Ziegler.
Ziegler will be making her second appearance at the collegiate level, but first away from Madison, after finishing in a tie for 18th at the Badger Invitational in September.
Wisconsin is set to tee off Sunday morning at 9:40 (CT). Fans can follow all three rounds with live scoring with golfstat.com.

No. 60 Florida International, No. 65 Kansas State, No. 73 Kennesaw State, No. 74, University of Texas- San Antonio, No. 79 Middle Tennessee State University, (No. 84 Wisconsin,) No. 90 Oral Roberts, No. 109 Kansas and Redlands Community College (Calif.).
