MADISON, Wis. -- Junior Tomislav Zadro has been named to the 2011 NCAA Men's Division I All-Great Lakes Region second-team, announced by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
Zadro, along with 10 other Big Ten student-athletes, earned a spot on the three-team all-region award.
The Toronto, Ontario native led Wisconsin with 20 points, the most for a Badger since the 2008 season when Scott Lorenz finished with 10 goals and three assists for 23 points. He recorded a 10-game point streak, from Sept. 4-Oct. 9, leading the Badgers with four goals and seven assists during that time.
Zadro earned first-team All-Big Ten honors, was named to the Big Ten All-Tournament team and selected to the all-tournament teams at the Hilton Garden Hokie Invitational and UIC Soccer Classic.
