SANDY, Utah -- Former Badger Dan Woltman is in contention at this week's Nationwide event, the Utah Championships at Willow Creek Country Club in Sandy, Utah. Woltman shot a 7-under par 64 in the second round to go along with a 71 to tie for 12th at 7-under with a 135.
J.J. Killeeen is the leader at 13-under par with a 129. The tournament concludes Sunday.
Woltman was a standout golfer for the Badgers earning second-team All-Big Ten honors in 2008 and 2009. He qualified for the NCAA championships in 2007 and 2008.
