
Badgers Head to Charleston Southern for tournament

MADISON, Wis.- The UW men’s golf team finishes up its fall schedule Oct. 28-30 at the 54-hole Wendy’s Kiawah Classic at the par 71 Turtle Point Golf Course in Kiawah Island, S.C.
A year ago the Badgers finished ninth in this tournament with a 318-296-309--923. UW was led by Thomas O'Bryan who tied for 21st with a 10-over 73-73-78--226.
Kennesaw State tied for first with a 17-over 299-287-295--881, while Campbell finished with a 17-over 292-292-297--881. Campbell will return to defend their title and will be joined in the tournament by Charleston Southern, Boise State, Bradley, Butler, College of Charleston, Connecticut, Francis Marion, George Washington, High Point, Jacksonville State, Loyola of Maryland, Marquette, Mount St. Mary’s, Presbyterian, Radford, South Carolina, St. John’s, Stetson, Towson, USC Upstate, Utah Valley, Western Kentucky, William & Mary, Winthrop and Wisconsin.
Playing for Wisconsin this week are Thomas O'Bryan, Chris Meyer, Thomas Welk, Anthony Aicher and Brady Keegan.
The Badgers are coming off their fourth tournament of the season Oct. 15-16 where they finished 15th with a 308-311-308--927 in the AutoTrader.com Collegiate Classic in Duluth, Ga.
