Bus available to UW students for Wisconsin adidas Invitational

MADISON, Wis. -- With some of the nation’s top cross country teams coming to Madison this weekend to compete in the sixth-annual Wisconsin adidas Invitational, Wisconsin Athletics will provide a free bus to students who wish to attend the meet on Friday at 11 a.m. at the Zimmer Championship Course.
The student bus will leave at 10 a.m. from the Chazen Museum of Art on University Avenue, and will leave the Zimmer Championship Course, located next to the University Ridge Golf Course, at 1 p.m. The meet is also free to attend.
The women’s championship race, which begins at 11 a.m., features 22 ranked teams, including six of the top 10 squads in the nation. The Badgers enter the weekend ranked No. 15 and have won two of their three meets this season.
The men’s championship race, set to begin at 11:45 a.m., has 19 ranked teams and six top-10 teams, including No. 9 Wisconsin. The Badgers are coming off of a win at the Greater Louisville Classic two weeks ago.
