Coach and player quotes
Head Coach John Trask
On the seniors:
"Casey (Beyers) has meant so much for the program as well as Matej (Radonic) and obviously Brian's (Hail) involvement in the game. It's always nice to see seniors win on senior day. But just pleased to get another win in the Big Ten, it's a very difficult conference and Ohio State was very tough and we were up against it after the red card but we did enough to win then game, we scored two goals, they scored one, so we'll take it and move on."
Â
On how physical the game was:
"Extremely physical. We're big, were strong and they're big, they're strong. Tough game to referee, there's a lot of personal battles going on in that game and luckily we came out on top."
Â
On going undefeated at home:
"Tt was one of the goals before the season was to be undefeated and other than the blemish against Indiana with the tie, we won every game at home. Reminded me of the 2013 season which was an extremely successful year and just want to keep it going. We'll be at home next Sunday, hopefully we'll get tons of fans out. Please come out and support these guys, they deserve it, it's a great group."
Â
On goals moving forward:
"Hopefully we can win the game next week and move on to the semifinals. I know the guys would love to have a chance to be down in Indianapolis but it's going to be a tremendously hard game, regardless of who we play and we'll get our guys rested up, and get the field ready to go and be ready to play, drop the ball and get it on. "

Senior Brian Hail
On how he feels:
"It's crazy, I can still remember the first time I stepped on this field and I already got emotional back there but it's crazy. My freshman year we started off and we went the entire regular season undefeated and to do it again my last year with hopes of going to the tournament, it's special. I love playing at this place and when I was recruited I could have never thought that this place would be our home and be the place we protected."
Â
On being undefeated at home:
"Undefeated, that means everything. That alone earned us a home game aging in the first round of the Big Ten tournament and it just shows our resilience, it shows our ability to work in the block, work together. This group has come a long way. We got some young guys, we had some rough years but we've come a long way and we're a good team now, it means a lot."
Â
Favorite memory at McClimon:
"I'm sure the guys are sick of hearing this but my freshman year when we beat IU, we were down 3-1 with 17 minutes left and AJ Cochran heads it home for the winner and it was special. I still get goose bumps when I think about it."
Â
Goals moving forward:
"Everybody's zero, zero. We got to start a new slate. As great as it was going undefeated at home, it doesn't really mean much now and I think we got the confidence to go against anybody in the country and I think we're going to move on forward from here and try to make a big run, try to make noise."
