MADISON, Wis. – For the first time since 2000, the University of Wisconsin will host an NCAA volleyball regional. The third-seeded Badgers host No. 6 seed Stanford, Ohio State and Florida State in regional action on Friday and Saturday in the UW Field House.

Wisconsin and Big Ten Conference foe Ohio State open play on Friday at 1 p.m. in the first regional semifinal, live on ESPNU. Stanford and Florida State face off in the second semifinal at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN3.
Semifinal winners advance to Saturday's regional final at 5 p.m. on ESPNU, with the victor advancing to the NCAA Championship semifinals on Dec. 15 at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.
The Badgers are playing in their fourth-straight NCAA Sweet 16, and 14th in program history. Wisconsin is 7-6 in regional semifinals, including a 2-0 mark in the UW Field House.
Wisconsin advanced to the regional by sweeping Howard and No. 25 Washington State in first- and second-round action, respectively, in the UW Field House. Ohio State swept Missouri State before upsetting No. 14 seed Kansas State, 3-2, in the second round.
The Cardinal swept Denver and Boise State, while Florida State downed Cincinnati, 3-1, before upsetting No. 11 seed Florida, 3-2, in the second round.
Tickets for the regional go on sale Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. Per NCAA rules, only all-session ticket packages (three matches) are available for purchase until Friday. Reserved seats are $18 while general admission tickets are $14 for adults or $10 for youth and senior citizens.

The 2016 NCAA Volleyball Championship will be held on Dec. 15 and Dec. 17 at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. Tickets for the championship will not be sold through the Wisconsin Athletic Ticket Office. Tickets may be purchased by visiting the
