MEN'S BASKETBALL (22-12)This Week:Â Fresh off its thrilling win over No. 2 seed Xavier in the second round, seventh-seeded Wisconsin (22-12) heads to Philadelphia for the Sweet 16 and a showdown with No. 6 seed Notre Dame on Friday night at 6:27 p.m. CT. The game will be broadcast by TBS.
Last Week:Â The Badgers grinded out a 47-43 win on Friday against No. 10 seed Pittsburgh in the first round of the 2016 NCAA Tournament, then followed up with a dramatic 66-63 win over No. 2 seed Xavier thanks to a buzzer-beating 3-pointer by Bronson Koenig.
Good to Know:Â Â Wisconsin has advanced to the Sweet 16 in five of the last six seasons. No other program in the country has accomplished that feat.

Last Week:Â Zach Ziemek became the school's first national champion in the heptathlon at the 2016 NCAA Indoor Championships, where he netted a Big Ten record score of 6,173 points. Sophomore Morgan McDonald recorded second-team All-America honors at the NCAA meet in the 3000 meters with a 12th-place showing.
Good to Know:Â This week marks the Badgers' first of two trips to San Diego, as the team will compete at the Triton Invitational, hosted by the University of San Diego, April 22-23.Â

WOMEN'S TRACK AND FIELDThis Week:Â The Badgers open their outdoor campaign at the Aztec Track and Field Invitational, hosted by San Diego State, this Friday and Saturday, in San Diego, California.Last Week:Â Georgia Ellenwood finished fourth in the pentathlon at the 2016 NCAA Indoor Championships to earn first-team All-America honors for a second-straight year, while Kelsey Card netted first-team All-America honors in the shot put with a fifth-place showing.Â
Good to Know:Â Ellenwood is coming off a successful showing at the 2016 IAAF World Indoor Championships last Friday in Portland, Oregon, as the Langley, British Columbia, native finished 10th in the pentathlon.Â

Need to Know:Â The pair of Matt Hutchins and Brett Pinfold will compete in two events each at the national meet, which will be held at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center and hosted by Georgia Tech. Austin Byrd and Cannon Clifton will each compete in one event and represent the Badgers.
Good to Know:Â Competition begins at the 2016 NCAA Championships on March 23 with the 800-yard freestyle and 200-yard medley relays. ESPN3.com will stream finals sessions Friday and Saturday, March 25-26, live. Additionally, ESPNU will air a 90-minute show April 6 at 6:30 p.m. (CT).
WOMEN'S TENNISThis Week:Â The Wisconsin women's tennis team continues their three-game road trip. The 3-10 Badgers begin with a trip to Iowa City to take on Iowa on Friday at 5 p.m., followed by a trip to Lincoln, Nebraska for a match up with Nebraska on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Â
Last Week:Â UW battled No. 30 William & Mary down to the wire in a match that lasted nearly three and a half hours, but ultimately fell, 4-3, in Madison last Sunday.
Good to Know:Â William & Mary marked the fifth top-30 team that the Badgers have faced so far this season. Three of those five opponents ranked in the top 10.
WOMEN'S GOLFThis Week:Â Wisconsin returns to the Briar's Creek Invitational March 21-22 for competition and spring break practice in the warmth of John's Island, S.C.
Good to Know: Eight top-50 ranked teams comprise this year's 18-team field in this fourth annual 54-hole event held at the par 72, 6,036-yard The Golf Club at Briar's Creek. Junior Brooke Ferrell leads the Badgers with 73.75 strokes per round and is coming off her second collegiate tournament title as co-medalist at the Westbrook Spring Invitational where she set the school 54-hole record with an 5-under 211.Â

golfstat.com.Briar's Creek Invitational - Live Stats MEN'S GOLFThis Week: UW competes in its second spring tournament and its first visit to the Airstream Adventures Northwest Classic at the par 72, 6,976-yard Williamette Valley Country Club in Canby, Oregon. Hosted by Oregon State, the 15-team field will play 36 holes March 21, and the final 18 holes on March 22.
Good to Know: The Badgers knocked the winter rust off March 7-8 finishing 16th at the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate in Aiken, S.C. Sophomore Eddie Wajda III led the team and improved each round with a 10-over 77-72-71--220 to place 37th.

Airstream Adventures Northwest Classic - Live StatsSOFTBALLThis Week: The Wisconsin softball team returns to action with a doubleheader against Detroit in Chicago, Illinois at the DePaul Softball Stadium on Tuesday at 12 and 2 p.m. before opening up conference play against Michigan State in a weekend series in East Lansing, Michigan.
Good to Know: The Badgers are one of nine Big Ten teams to emerge from the non-conference season with winning records.
Last Week: The Badgers proved that they were a force to be reckoned with as seven players scored at least one run against Santa Clara in their 11-5 victory over Santa Clara.

Last Week: Wisconsin improved to 11-1 on the season after collecting two wins on the road this past weekend in Iowa. UW faced Brown first in a neutral site match, picking up a 4-2 win over the Bears. On Sunday, No. 49 Wisconsin took the courts against host team, No. 36 Drake. The Badgers pulled off their third upset win this season, defeating the Bulldogs 4-3 in a tight match.
Good to Know: Wisconsin has only faced one conference opponent so far this season, No. 23 Minnesota, but pulled off a huge upset win over the border rival. Having achieved the best start in program history since 1973, the Badgers are looking forward to opening up play within a competitive conference.
