How the battle to be Badgers' starter stands after spring practice
MADISON, Wis. — With spring practice in the books, the April 28 edition of Varsity Magazine takes a look at the battle for the Badgers' starting quarterback spot.
Senior Bart Houston and redshirt freshman Alex Hornibrook will carry their QB competition into the fall, but both benefitted from the snaps they received in spring drills. The man that Houston and Hornibrook, Joel Stave, is among a handful of Badgers waiting to potentially hear their names called in this weekend's NFL draft. Stave and two of his fellow former walk-ons, Alex Erickson and Joe Schobert, have been key supporters for one another in the lead-up to the draft. Read about it HERE.
